16 April 2019

P3 has been named a finalist in the first ever East Midlands Charity Awards.

The work of P3's services across Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire has been recognised in the new awards, with P3 shortlisted for the category of 'East Midlands Charity of the Year'.

The finalists were notified last week, although the shortlists won’t be officially published until the awards night, which will take place in Nottingham on 27 June.

Head of Community and Support Services for P3’s East Midlands services, Rebecca Harrington-Leigh, said:

“We are really proud to have been shortlisted in the East Midlands Charity Awards; on behalf of all of the teams working across the East Midlands, from the far north of Derbyshire in Glossop down to Leicester, and then right across to the Lincolnshire coast, this recognition means a great deal.

“Within the East Midlands alone, we deliver such a wide range of services, including street outreach for people sleeping rough, accommodation and support to people experiencing mental health issues, recovery and peer support, enabling people to sustain independent living in their own homes, as well as preventing homelessness through coaching and resilience building. We’re a busy bunch!

“Everyone who works in these services shows such passion and commitment to making a difference to people’s lives, it’s a privilege to call them my colleagues.”
