P3 shortlisted for two SE100 Awards!

P3 has made it to the finals of the NatWest SE100 Awards for two different categories – Social Impact Champion, and Resilience.

The SE100 Awards are arranged by Pioneers Post, a leading social business magazine, which also compiles a list of the Top 100 social enterprises in the UK every year. They are also responsible for the WISE100, an index of top women working in social business, which P3’s Jo Summers and Gemma Bukel have both appeared on in recent years.

The Social Impact award recognises organisations which “demonstrate and communicate the social or environmental impact of their business, using this to improve their performance and win new business”, while the Resilience category is intended for those who “continually deliver positive social or environmental change…successfully tackling challenges and overcoming difficulties”.

Mark Simms, CEO of P3 Charity, said:

“We are over the moon to be shortlisted for both Social Impact and Resilience at the SE100 Awards.

“I am extremely proud of P3’s focus and tenacity over the last year to continue putting people first in everything we do, in the face of significant challenges. The thing that I’m most proud of is that we have continued to support our communities in a way, at a pace and in the place they want and expect us to be.

“This recognition of hard work and determination is shared across every member of the team, clients, staff and volunteers. It highlights how we were able to pull together to support our community at the time of a terrible disaster, whilst we strengthened and expanded our resources to ensure even more people had access to the support they needed elsewhere in the country.”
