P3 Charity won a ‘Rising Star’ award at the first ever Northwest Charity Awards this October, for its services supporting homeless and socially excluded people across the districts of Cheshire West & Chester, and Cheshire East.

P3 received the commendation after being shortlisted for ‘Northwest Charity of the Year’ for services such as helping to settle refugee families as part of the Government’s Syrian Refugee Programme, and providing supported accommodation for vulnerable groups such as women at risk of homelessness and young people leaving care. P3 Cheshire also offer floating support to people with housing issues out in the community and recently launched a Street Outreach service in Northwich to support people who are rough sleeping.

Operations Manager Roz Price (above, second from right) attended the awards ceremony with P3 CEO Mark Simms and members of her team on 11 October at Manchester’s Midland Hotel. She said:

“We are delighted to have been named ‘Rising Star’ for our work across Cheshire – I am so incredibly proud of our staff, who have supported vulnerable people with all kinds of complex needs with tireless patience, empathy and passion this last year. Most of all, this recognition is for our clients, who have managed to overcome huge difficulties and found the confidence and strength to turn their lives around.”
