Grenfell Tower fire

Following this morning’s tragic news about the fire at Grenfell Tower in London's Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, P3’s CEO Mark Simms stated:

“Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by this tragedy and we are doing everything we can to support the victims and their families.

“The Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) and P3 are part of this community and we are dedicated to supporting people in every possible way.

“RPT’s centre on Walmer Road is open for residents who have been evacuated from the fire and we are working alongside the council and emergency services to support everyone within the community that has been affected by today’s events.

“We know that many lives have been impacted by this terrible event and will never be the same after today – I want to reassure everybody within the local area that we will continue to offer emotional and practical support for as long as it’s needed.

"I also want to express my thanks to all those who have offered assistance and donations, people's support has been overwhelming.”

Residents who are displaced due to the fire have been asked to please call 020 7361 3008.
