P3’s Finance team announced as finalists at the 2024 Accounts Payable Association Awards
P3’s Finance team were shortlisted in five categories at the Accounts Payable Association Awards 2024, included as finalists in the Employee Engagement category.
The awards aim to honour finance teams and projects across multiple industries to promote best practice, as well as celebrating and recognising achievements and contributions towards their services. Every year the awards attract hundreds of high-quality entries, which are then evaluated by an expert independent judging panel.
P3’s internal finance user optimisation project, led by Jade Holmes and Dominic North, was a collective project delivered by three P3 departments; Finance, Marketing and Communications and Digital Services. Reaching the final four in the Employee Engagement category, it was a great recognition of all the hard work demonstrated by P3 colleagues every day.
Jade Holmes, Digital Communications Manager, said “P3 thrives on the strength of our ambition and collaboration, and it was an honour to play my part in seeing this recognised, especially alongside our wonderful Finance team who were shortlisted for four other awards! I’m incredibly grateful to work with such talented people.”
This was echoed by joint-lead in the project, Dominic North, Junior Data and Digital Analyst, who commented “P3 is a great place to work, both for its collective effort to transform people’s lives and its strive for innovation. I enjoyed working with other core departments within our organisation to support those working on the frontline. I would like to thank everyone who was involved for their contribution.”
The Finance team were also shortlisted in an additional four award categories: AP Team of the Year, AP Manager of the Year, Digital Transformation Award and Wellbeing for Others Award.
Jacqueline Harris, Accounting Services Manager, shared her thoughts saying that “The Accounts Payable Association is a great opportunity to showcase our talent as a community that is committed to driving forward standards for the Accounts Payable Industry. As a team we are incredibly proud of our accomplishments, to be selected for five awards was outstanding, especially when the competition is so strong for each category.”
