P3 Charity Announces Closure of Buckinghamshire Floating Support Service
With deep consideration, P3 Charity has made the difficult decision to close the Buckinghamshire Floating Support Service. This service has been instrumental in supporting people at risk of homelessness across the county, offering crucial advice and assistance to those in need.
Reasons for Closure
Unfortunately, P3 will no longer receive funding via Buckinghamshire County Council to deliver the service.
Buckinghamshire Council stated:
“The Council will be making a decision on the future of the Community Homelessness Support Service contract, with a recommendation to decommission the service. This is a very challenging decision for the Council to make and is due to significant budgetary pressure across all commissioned homelessness support services.”
About the Service
Since its inception, the Buckinghamshire Floating Support Service has been a cornerstone of P3 Charity’s efforts in the region, dedicated to preventing homelessness and helping people achieve stability and independence in their living situations.
