P3's Finance Team announced as finalists in two categories at the industry’s prestigious 2023 Accounts Payable Association Awards.
Each year Accounts Payable Association (APA) celebrate the success of people and teams by hosting the industry’s prestigious APA awards ceremony.
The awards provide a unique opportunity for the APA to publicly recognise the hard-working professionals who have made an impact in their organisation or the wider sector and to acknowledge personal successes over the past twelve months.
P3’s Finance Team were announced as finalists in the ‘Significant Team Achievement’ and ‘Wellbeing For Others’ categories.
Financial Controller Lisa Towndrow and Accounting Services Manager Jacqueline Harris said: “We were extremely surprised, especially with the high calibre of big names that we were up against to be finalists in two categories – Wellbeing and Significant Team Achievement. For the team to be recognised for our achievements was an incredibly proud moment.”
Finance Officer Helen Chambers, added: ”It’s fantastic that we have received recognition for all the hard work we have put in recently. Being shortlisted for the award helps us to see that we have managed change and successfully progressed together as one team. I feel proud to be part of it.”
After walking down the red carpet and joining the celebrations the Finance Team formally scooped the accolade of being announced runner-up for the Significant Team Achievement Award. Congratulations!
