P3's People Board win Trustee Board of the Year at the Charity Times Awards
P3's People Board have been awarded Trustee Board of the Year at the prestigious 2023 Charity Times Awards.
Now in their 24th year, the awards aim to honour the outstanding professionals within the charity sector and recognise, celebrate, and promote best practice. The awards attracted hundreds of high-quality entries, which were then evaluated by an expert independent judging panel.
Lindsey Robinson, Head of Support and Community Services North West, said,: “I am absolutely made up that the people board won the category for the Trustee Board of the Year at the annual Charity Times Awards. Our people board work collaboratively and ensure that the people shaping P3 team are delivering our strategy and ensuring that peoples voices are shaping everything we do.
"The award is a huge revelation in the sector. We believe we are the only charity in the sector to have a board made up of people who access or who have accessed our services. We hope this sets the bar and other charities follow suit. It is the right thing to do and holds us accountable to the people who really matter.”
