P3 Stays in NatWest Top 100

Rachel Reeves 20 June 2022

P3 remains a top-rated UK social enterprise, having retained its position in NatWest’s SE100 Index for 2022.

The ‘Everyone In’ campaign and the peer-reviewed People Standards for services were among the P3 initiatives that helped to maintain its position in the index.

P3 projects such as the new services in Stoke-on-Trent and Rutland and the regeneration programme in Gainsborough were also considerations.

In addition, the judges learned about the Derbyshire Mental Health helpline which P3 launched in April 2020 and the award-winning Wolverhampton Hospital Discharge Service, which saved £796,021 of public funds.

The SE100 list was created by Pioneers Post in partnership with NatWest Bank.

Pioneers Post’s founding editor Tim West said: “The indications are that the UK’s social enterprises are on the way up after experiencing some very challenging times.

“What’s also clear from broader information captured in our SE100 survey is that social enterprises are working harder on issues such as social and racial equality and their impact on climate and the environment, even if these are not their key areas of business.

“Social entrepreneurs are a stubborn breed: not only do they want to do better in terms of their profitability and impact, they also want to be better in terms of the way they operate and the values that they stand for.”
