P3 Team nominated as 'Housing Heroes'
Following their success last year at the Leamington Business Awards, P3's Warwickshire Street Outreach Team have been shortlisted in Inside Housing's Housing Heroes Awards!
The team have been selected in the category of 'Support and care team of the year(under 7000 homes)' - you can see all the other categories and shortlists here.
P3's Street Outreach Service Coordinator for Warwickshire, Mandy Hill, said:
"Our dedicated Street Outreach Team work in all weathers, from 5am, offering help and support to people who find themselves in difficult and challenging circumstances. We have a personalised approach to the support we give to enable people to work at their own pace and to ensure they feel safe and comfortable by building trust and developing a good rapport. Our aim is to break the cycle of long-term homelessness and enable people to maintain their own safe and secure home.
"Thank you for recognising our hard work in this way, we are very excited to be shortlisted alongside other fantastic organisations as 'Housing Heroes'."
Of course, the 2020 awards will look a little different this year, with a virtual ceremony taking place on 10 September which is free for anyone to attend online.
