Street Outreach cars

Helping people get off the streets into safe, stable accommodation

Our street outreach cars enable our teams of dedicated support workers to respond to the multiple reports of people sleeping rough. The bright pink and blue cars also raise awareness with the distinctive messaging encouraging the general public to let us know if they see someone who is rough sleeping.

Look out for P3’s street outreach cars from 5am on the streets in:

Gloucestershire
Derbyshire
Wolverhampton
Warwickshire

How we can help

Our street outreach teams go out in the early hours of the morning responding to new referrals, as well as visiting known rough sleeping sites, in order to make contact with people who are sleeping out on the streets.

Our intention is to break down barriers and build relationships with people. This then allows us to understand the reasons why a person ended up in their situation in the first place and ensures that we offer appropriate advice that then helps someone to exit the streets as quickly and as safely as possible.

We work in partnership with multiple organisations, police and community groups enabling people to access the support services they need and realise their potential. This includes helping people to access drug and alcohol services, stable and safe accommodation and physical and mental health services. We’re also able, where appropriate, to help people to return to their home towns – both within the UK or abroad.

How to get help:

Our services cover large geographical regions and we rely on your calls to alert us to anyone seen rough sleeping; we can then act on this information and direct our support to those people in need.
