Nottingham City Homelessness Prevention & Resettlement Service

For people who need support with managing their existing tenancy and independent living skills and for those at risk of becoming homeless.

What we do: Enabling people to keep their lives on track and access housing

The Nottingham City Homelessness Prevention & Resettlement Service in Nottingham is a different kind of service. Here we support people who have spent time on the streets to live independently and manage day-to-day living within their own home, to achieve, to overcome personal challenges and lead settled fulfilling lives.

Supporting people through tough times, our support is trauma informed, strengths-based and person-led, where everything is at their pace, when and how they decide, delivering significant and positive change.

Each person has a tailored support plan and named key worker, supporting them not only with their existing accommodation, but also with issues such as addiction, offending and debt.

We want to enable people to achieve their potential and move on from temporary accommodation to a more settled, stable home and lead a healthier, positive lifestyle - never finding themselves homeless again.

“The fact that I know I’m in control of my housing, but have access to support when I need it has really boosted my positivity.”
