DERBY SUPPORTED ACCOMMODATION

 

This service is part of the BeWell personal budgets service for people experiencing mental health difficulties, and offers accommodation at Stonehill Lodge in Derby, with in-house social, emotional and practical support.

Our service is person-centred. We will work with you to enable you to maintain good mental health, access local community groups and reduce your social isolation by attending activities and arranged trips, which are suggested and developed by people using our services.

Staff are on-site 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week, providing support with:

  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Daily living skills such as shopping and cooking
  • Managing personal finances
  • Employment, training and volunteering opportunities
  • Staying safe and secure in your environment
  • Accessing other support agencies

Please note that this service is not able to offer personal care. 

 

You can refer to this service if:

  • You are in receipt of a personal budget, or can self-fund your support
  • You are experiencing mental health difficulties
  • You are struggling to manage independently

 

How to refer

You can either self-refer to our service or someone else can refer you.

How we’re funded

The BeWell service is funded through a personal budget allocated from Adult Social Care or Healthcare. Support packages can also be self funded.
