Acorn House: P3 Forest of Dean

Providing a pathway to independent living

This P3 Housing service is part of the Government's Next Steps Accommodation Programme (NSAP) and will ensure people who have been housed under the ‘Everyone In’ Covid-19 response to homelessness have the support they need to stay off the streets.

Based in Cinderford, Acorn House offers 10 places to stay in the Forest of Dean, providing people with an ‘interim step’, based in their local community, on the pathway to independent housing. Intensive support is also offered to tackle any barriers people may face such as substance misuse or mental ill-health.

This service is for:

  • People housed under 'Everyone In' and;
  • Living in the Forest of Dean District Council area

The service is not currently taking referrals. However if you live in Gloucestershire and need support with housing issues, you may also be eligible for our community-based support service.
