There's no place like home
Having somewhere warm, safe and dry to live is something that most people take for granted; however, not everyone in society is so lucky. In fact, homelessness can happen to anyone, at any time. Right now, more than 250,000 people in the UK have no place to call home, including over 100,000 children and families.
At P3, we believe a place to call home should be a right to which everyone is entitled, so it is our core mission to make the number of people struggling to maintain their homes or living homeless, zero.
We offer a range of housing options to support people to live somewhere that is right for them, including direct-access hostels, 24hr staffed accommodation, self-contained flats for single people and larger accommodation for families in the community.
Our preventative work extends across the country, with our floating support services working to prevent homelessness before it happens by working with people whose accommodation is at risk.
Our Street Outreach teams work in the early hours of the morning to identify people who are sleeping on the streets and we work to support the 'No Second Night Out' initiative, ensuring an individual doesn't need to spend another night outside sleeping rough.
We work with people to build on their strengths, skills and resilience, helping them to develop their own set of resources to self-manage and stay well, and we're with them every step of the way.
Too complex, too chaotic?
We believe that nobody is beyond help and everyone has the potential to improve their situation. We make sure that our services are designed to find reasons we can work with people, rather than reasons we can't, and we'll adapt what we do to make it possible.
