Role Title: Street Outreach Volunteer
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands

Role Overview

We’re looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to join our Street Outreach Team in Wolverhampton. This is your chance to support individuals while gaining hands-on experience in working with individuals with complex needs and homelessness.

As a Street Outreach Volunteer, you’ll be involved in engaging outreach efforts, providing crucial support to individuals and contributing to meaningful projects, meeting external agencies and answering queries both on the telephone and in person. Every day is unique, filled with opportunities to connect, learn and create lasting change.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
• Provide Guidance to people we work alongside.
• Provide guidance and advice to people we work alongside.

Skills and Attributes

• Empathy and excellent interpersonal skills
• A proactive and reliable approach to volunteering.

Preferred Experience (not required)

• Knowledge of housing laws and regulations.
• Lived experience of homelessness.
