Merseyside Linkworker Service

Helping to reduce re-offending in Merseyside and surrounding areas

P3 work alongside Merseyside Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC), supporting people across Merseyside who are currently serving a probation order.

You can be referred to our service by your Case Manager if:

  • You have an OGRS score of 75 or over*
  • You have 4 or more needs
  • You’re willing to engage with support

*Speak to your Case Manager for more information.

How we can help

We complete an independent assessment and agree an action plan to address a variety of social and emotional needs that may be contributing to a person’s involvement in offending.

P3’s link workers offer dedicated and consistent support, to build a trusting relationship. We tailor our support to the needs of each individual person and work collaboratively with our clients to find solutions for complex problems.

We commonly support people to:

  • Access housing
  • Prevent eviction
  • Access benefits and manage finances
  • Access drug and alcohol services
  • Access mental health support

We work with a variety of organisations including Styal Prison, Sefton Court and the Women’s Alliance,  to co-ordinate your support in the short-term, while assisting you to access services that can support you for the longer-term.

Where you can find us

Our Merseyside Link Worker Teams are co-located with probation teams in Wirral, Liverpool, Southport, St Helens, Knowsley and Sefton.
