LEicestershire Homelessness prevention coaching service

Supporting vulnerable people before crisis point to prevent homelessness

Available across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.

This coaching and support service works with individuals, couples and families who are at risk of homelessness before things reach crisis point in order to prevent them from losing their home, or returning to a life on the streets.

We aim to enable people to access and/or sustain accommodation independently, and increase their chances of securing a long-term home. We can coach you to build on existing strengths, as well as identifying gaps where you may need extra support.

We can help if you are:

  •  Age 16+
  • A resident of Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland or with a local connection to the area
  • In need of support to prevent homelessness

What support is available?

We will work with you to create a housing-related action plan tailored to your needs. We can offer coaching with:

  • Developing daily living skills such as budgeting and meal-planning
  • Self-esteem and emotional wellbeing
  • Personal development, such as employment and training
  • Accessing community groups and social opportunities
  • Drug and alcohol misuse
  • Accessing other support agencies
