P3 Places to Stay: Cheshire Young People

Supporting young people to increase their independence

This service is based in Macclesfield and provides accommodation and support to young people who are leaving care services or in need of support to work towards independent living.

The service has supportive staff onsite 24/7 to ensure the young people staying with us are safe and well looked after, whilst we assist them to develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently in the future.

This includes support with:

  • Daily living skills such as cooking and budgeting
  • Applying for/maximising benefits
  • Employment, education & training opportunities
  • Accessing other services such as mental health or drug & alcohol support

We also provide a dedicated place for young people who require somewhere safe to stay in a crisis situation (available 24 hours a day), as well as two move-on properties in the community for those who are ready to move towards full independence.

We can help if you are:

  • Aged 16 to 25 with or without experience of being in care
  • Experiencing homelessness
  • OR leaving social care and/or are a young person cared for by the local authority
